Why can I not run MSC Patran via Cloudpaging on CAEN Windows computers?

There is a known bug that causes MSC Patran to fail at launch and continuously display the status Ready in the Cloudpaging Player. To work around this bug, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Command Prompt. You can do this by using the search bar in the lower left corner.
  2. Go to the Apps Anywhere page and launch MSC Patran. Apps Anywhere can be opened using the desktop icon labeled CAEN Software.
  3. Paste the following into the Command Prompt, and press Enter:

%SystemDrive%\VApps\MSC-Patran_x64\20170\bin\patran.exe -skin
