Where is my home directory located on computers running the CLSE for Linux?
When logging into the CLSE for Linux, you may notice that your home directory is listed at:
where uniqname is your individual U-M uniqname. This is actually a link to your umich.edu AFS personal storage, located at:
where u1 and u2 are the first and second letters of your individual U-M uniqname, respectively.
This link was made to conform CAEN's account management software for Linux systems. You will still be able to access your Linux home directory remotely using SFTP software or MFile via the web.
