What is Salesforce?

Salesforce is a cloud-based constituent (or customer) relationship management (CRM) system. CRMs enable the easy management and analysis of interactions an institution has with its constituents throughout their relationship. For a university, this might include relationships with prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

The College of Engineering CRM pilot project will determine how Salesforce can improve alumni outreach and engagement.
