What options are there to edit a recording once it is complete?

After a recording is finished, CAEN's Lecture Capture Service provides a web-based interface for editing the recording, including:

  • Entering the title of the recording (shown to students when viewing the list of recordings)
  • Entering an optional description
  • Trimming the beginning and end of the recording
  • Choosing the desired output formats (podcast formats, etc.)
  • Setting whether the recording is visible to the public
  • Moving or copying the recording to other lecture capture sites
  • Add a transcript or captions to the video
