How do I emphasize text in my Google Site?
When editing a page, you can highlight a piece of text and click the either the bold (B) or italics (I) button to make it bold or italicized, respectively. Because Google Sites renders this text with deprecated and tags, this could cause problems for people who use screen readers or other assistive technology, because those look for the more current and tags.
You can adjust the HTML from the html editor by clicking the
button without compromising the appearance of the text.
