How do I enroll a device with Duo Two-Factor Authentication at U-M?

There are a few steps necessary to enroll a device and start using Two-Factor Authentication (Duo):

  • First, review the available options  to decide which are right for you, including which device(s) you may want to enroll (you can enroll multiple devices).
    • Registering multiple devices is especially helpful as a backup, in case you may be without your smartphone or laptop when you need to log in.
  • Complete the online enrollment  procedure for each device you want to enroll.
