Can I install software on a CAEN lab computer?

No. Since CAEN computers are a shared by all Engineering students, they are configured with strict software restriction policies to prevent the installation and launch of unauthorized software (e.g. malware, spyware, viruses...).

College of Engineering instructors may request course-related applications to be installed by CAEN.
