Who is responsible for my data and data backups?

You are responsible for the data on your computer and for performing backups. CAEN recommends that data which is business-critical to the College of Engineering be stored in shared departmental or administrative group space, rather than on the local hard drive of an office computer. You can also store data to your individual Windows Home Directory via the N: network drive.

Speak with your departmental IT support staff to determine the best location to store your data.
